Welcome 2011! We are excited for the Concerto Competition to resume in a few weeks and some exciting lectures before the end of the year. Everyone practice hard and look for signs about upcoming BYU MTNA activities!
Congrats to BYU for presenting a great lecture at the UMTA Convention in November. Christie, Britny, Desiree, Randy, Heather and Mandy presented a lecture on "Motivation: What you should know as a student and a teacher"--great job!
Mundi Project

Piano Teachers ... Do you have a student in need of a piano, but cannot afford one? The Mundi Project has donated sixteen pianos in the three years since we became a nonprofit organization. We currently have no applicants on our waiting list, and have two families who want to donate their piano to us. If you have a student eligible, please have them send in their application before July 15th.

The application can be found on our website at mundiproject.org under The Piano Bank menu. It is a three part form; one for the parent, one for the student and one for the piano teacher. All applications are reviewed by the Piano Bank Committee and if approved, students receive pianos as they become available.

Hopefully, you have all been receiving our newletters and are familiar with our Piano Bank Program which takes donated used pianos and places them in homes of deserving piano students who cannot afford a piano. We also have a Piano Ambassador Program in which we give young pianists opportunities to play in multi-disciplianry concerts with other dedicated artists.

If you need further information, please feel free to call me at 801-582-4256.

Thanks to all of you who spread the love of music, one student at a time.
